董建华（黄子华 饰）和丽莎（袁咏仪 饰）结婚多年，欧美彼此之间感情十分要好，欧美已经养育了一儿一女的丽莎如今腹中又怀上了一个新的生命，为她幸福的婚姻生活锦上添花。丽莎的母亲素宝（叶德娴 饰）从旅途中归来，暂住在女儿家，哪知道个性强硬的素宝和董建华之间发生了诸多的矛盾。在一次激烈的争吵之后，素宝负气离家，却遇上了车祸，她的魂魄来到阴间，竟然见到了去世多年的丈夫埃文斯（秦沛 饰），丈夫告诉素宝，有一冤魂缠上了丽莎腹中的胎儿，在丈夫的帮助下，素宝返回阳界，拥有了通灵能力的她果然在丽莎的身后看到了名为阿萍（甄楚倩 饰）的女鬼，然而，素宝却不知道该拿这个女鬼怎么办。

When Siren's mother is taken, the town must rally behind her, and help her make a peaceful transition into the water, before the hunters can find out where she is.
