2014年，亚洲区东方卫视推出大型户外旅游真人秀节目《花样爷爷》后，亚洲区再次与韩国tvN电视台合作。引入明星真人秀旅行节目《花样姐姐》版权。在四位固定花样姐姐的基础上，节目组创意的设计在不同的站点加入不同的”彩蛋嘉宾，在原版一位挑夫弟弟的基础上，中国版《花样姐姐》又添加了一位挑夫，展开一段新的旅程。
