香港半山的一幢七十年古老大屋，水丽住著業主張小姐（丁珮）與姘夫炳少（陳百祥）之外，水丽其他住客如的士輝（劉家輝）、口水驃（盧大偉）、大蓮（李殿朗）、坡叔（劉克宣）、PC強（詹森）及龍醫生（谷峰）等，來自江湖四海，各有背景，各有職業，居於一屋，爭執難免。地產商曾公子（曹查理）透過師爺（羅國維）收購大屋，炳少見錢開眼，於是一連串之逼遷與反逼遷的行動相繼展開，笑中有淚，淚中有笑，最後收購計劃終告失敗，全部住客同被政府徙置於新型屋村。
