地震即将来袭，若叶大马（王景春 饰）受幺鸡（沈伐 饰）唆使参予赌博，若叶结果输掉了全部产业，恼羞成怒的他打残了设局的幺鸡和自己的老婆，被判入狱服刑。不甘在监狱改造的大马骗取了保外就医的机会，不料此时地震来袭。大马与狱警小李争相救人，小李不幸被砸成重伤，临牺牲前他叮嘱大马返回监狱接受改造。大马得知妻子遇难、幼子失踪，希望找回儿子再去服刑，小李的父亲（李心敏 饰）是一名老警察，他开始暗中追踪大马。宋姐（王柠 饰）身患癌症，她对玛雅预言深信不已，大马的儿子被她收养，并取名挪亚（韩梓轩 饰）。老李帮大马找到了儿子，但挪亚并不认他这个父亲，在与宋姐的夺子大战中，大马竟与其擦出爱的火花。由于挪亚患上地震后遗症，爱子心切的大马筹钱为儿子打造可以庇护心灵的“揶亚方舟”，就在这时，幺鸡出现了……
