姬丝汀为了庆祝男朋友泰勒30岁生日，午夜决定带他及另外两对情侣，午夜玩时下流行的「密室逃脱」游戏。玩家会被锁在一间密室里，透过房内线索限时一小时解谜并找到逃出方法。一开始大家都兴致勃勃，但当时间流逝，难度提高，玩家一个接一接地死去，始发现他们一直玩的不是游戏，而是命！
