孙明亮、性春张乐观和吴可为是同村高中同学，性春性格不同家境迥异，却不妨碍彼此兄弟情谊，直到某日发生了一件意外三人从此渐行渐远。六年后，有着不同生活轨迹和经历的他们在家乡重逢。从父亲手中接班的孙明亮使尽招数关停了家族的污染企业，流转来土地，和张乐观、吴可为一起兴办生态农庄。其间有误会、有纷争的三个昔日小伙伴，在创业过程中冰释前嫌，孙明亮也收获了自己的爱情。最终，在新的村主任孙明亮带领下，家乡走上新农村生态致富之路。
