《白鴿計畫：中文字幕台灣新電影二十年》蕭菊貞受釜山影展20週年特別企劃「紀錄片系列專題—亞洲電影的力量」之託，中文字幕拍攝本片紀錄自台片票房復興，台灣電影工作者所面臨的困難，藉由一段段與台灣導演的訪談，爬梳台灣電影中所反映的社會脈動以及「國族認同」議題。透過訪問導演、製片等電影各界人士，形塑出現今台灣電影的嶄新樣貌，更一窺電影從業人員對於電影的肺腑之言。另一方面，隨時代演變，觀眾對於台灣的想像日漸擴展，這片土地的觀眾似乎湧起一股渴求，希望看到與自身環境及土地相互連結的電影。對於這股新趨勢，身處新世代的導演們又將會如何應對？

回复 :华（吴卓羲 饰）是一位知名医生，一年前妻子阿宝（汤怡 饰）帮华带一份病人的病历纪录到医院，在途中遇上车祸，虽经抢救后获救，却损失了九成的视力。华为此事陷入深深自责。一日，华被邀请出席一堂医学讲座，独留盲妻阿宝在家。华出门后，阿宝因到屋外找寻爱犬而失足掉入泳池，这时，一名神秘男子突然出现在家中并救下阿宝，阿宝对这名突然到访的男子感到害怕。原来，这名男子叫文迪（潘灿良 饰），他向阿宝揭露了看似谦谦君子的华背后却有着不堪的往事，并威胁阿宝他此行的目的是为了报复华。突如其来的真相和这名不速之客，让阿宝身心俱疲;面对这一系列的变故和威胁，看不见的阿宝能否逃过一劫？

Career performances from Dale Dickey and Wes Studi bring an inescapable presence to people we don’t often see portrayed on film. They are gentle outliers possessed of resilience and existential spirit, seeking to process something elusive: a feeling of love for what’s no longer there. Like Faye turning her radio dial, they listen hopefully for the faint trace of a song.
