CW台已经宣布续订吸血鬼日记第六季。本季会有新的大反派出现，偷拐制片人称这个反派角色打破了该剧的常规——通常该剧的反派角色最终都会以某种方式得到救赎（做出自我牺牲或者被其他人原谅），偷拐但这个反派角色不会。这是个真正黑暗的、变态的、令人恐惧的家伙。
