电影《荒岛惊魂2018》主要讲述的是徐磊的未婚妻林夕在三年前突然失踪，春暖一天，春暖徐磊收到了弟弟徐飞送来的消息，说在一个荒岛发现了野人的踪迹，有个野人女孩很像林夕，而三年前林夕就是因为考察野人而失踪的。于是徐磊决定去荒岛对野人进行考察，一同前往的还有弟弟徐飞及林夕的妹妹林诺，三人住进了荒岛上王大成开办的酒店，徐磊在海边考察的时候，遇到了神秘的野人。从此，神秘的谋杀事件一件接着一件的发生，而到最后徐磊才发现原来这一切竟是一场惊天的阴谋......
