同治皇帝病重，电流李莲英（姜文 饰）力荐慈禧（刘晓庆 饰）二次垂帘听政，电流不久同治身亡，慈禧立载湉为帝，继续把持朝政。1882年，李莲英陪同醇亲王巡视北洋水师，返京后却遭都察院纠弹，被革职处理，在慈禧的主张下，李莲英官复后宫大总管原职。李莲英为使侄女有个好归宿，将其带入宫中， 岂料只落得奴婢下场，他心中充满愧疚。光绪日渐成长，不甘受慈禧摆布，试图从慈禧手中夺权却被强力镇压，李莲英畏惧慈禧淫威，奉命将珍妃处死。不久八国联军入侵，清军连战连败，李莲英随慈禧微服出逃，途中在农户家中落脚，农妇的一席话，令李莲英与慈禧若有所悟……

回复 :We are in the year 2001, a temporary ceasefire brings a much-needed break to a small war-torn village in Northern Nepal, bringing much joy among the residents. Prakash and Kiran, two young close friends, are also starting to feel the change in the air. Though they are divided by caste and social creed, they remain inseparable, and start raising a hen given to Prakash by his sister, with hopes to save money by selling her eggs. However, the hen goes missing. To find it, they embark on a journey, innocently unaware of the tyranny brought by the fragile ceasefire.
